FAABulous Football Week 12: The Final Week of the FFPC Regular Season
Welcome to Week 12
This is it, the final week of the regular season for FFPC tournaments, teams must secure a top 4 seed for a shot to compete in the sprint. And of course for extra funsies, the NFL has scheduled its 6 team bye-mageddon (Falcons, Bills, Bengals, Jaguars, Saints, and Jets) to coincide with this most crucial of weeks for high scores and matchup wins.
However, if I’m being honest I appreciate the simultaneous occurrence of these monumental events as it is the only thing keeping the waiver wire at all intriguing at this point… it’s getting realllllyyyy grim out there y'all!
I tried my best to give you some viable streaming options to cover players from these teams that might be in your starting lineups, but I am grasping at straws.
If you are one of the lucky ones who has secured a top seed and has a full arsenal of weapons this week this is a great opportunity to skip a lot of gross plays and stash an extra defense or kicker for the sprint as well.
I also am not offering a drop list at this point as many of the players I would put on this list are also stashes because of the lack of intriguing options left on the waiver wires. Basically, use your best judgment about what makes sense for your roster, cut any roster cloggers in favor of high ceiling plays that could make a difference if they hit or secure a backup at the onesies if your wire is not available during your playoffs.
Alright the time has come to get the finale started, good luck to all of you making that final push for a shot at greatness and a million bucks!

A Look Back at Week 11
Week 11 Waiver Wire Wins
When I say “wins” it is in reference to the player(s) won on the waiver wire, not a performance evaluation. Because I am releasing this article after the conclusion of Week 11, many things, in hindsight, may not be a win after all. I include this section not for bragging rights or victory laps but rather to keep myself accountable and demonstrate that I am, in fact, bidding on many of the players I am writing about (for better and worse).
Several of the top waiver options were not available or right for teams’ roster needs. I included these players I did not win any shares of as well ones along with the winning bid range I saw these players go for in other leagues.

Week 11 Ship Chasing Team Standings
FFPC Main Event Teams
Live A Little (4-7) 10th Place 1483.95 pts
The mini-episodes team is most likely finished after its brutal Week 11 loss thanks to the Chiefs mega stack dud of Mahomes, Hunt, Kelce combined with Jaylen Waddle who frankly I have given up on the Dolphins offense wanting to use him. Breece Hall and JSN were the only bright spots here. There is a chance this team gets the fourth seed trailing by 80.6 points, so ya know a 200+ week could seal the deal.
Top 2 Win It Win It (5-6) 8th Place 1452.70 pts
This team managed to pull out a victory in spite of falling victim to Sean Payton's revolving game of who is RB1 this week and why the Ravens like Likely more than Mark Andrews. Unfortunately even with this victory the team is a similar long-shot bet trailing the 4 seed by 82.8 points... cue Jim Carey meme so you're saying there's a chance.
We Just Don't Know (6-5) 6th Place 1483.80 pts
I don't know exactly when this team sealed a victory in Week 11, because I had already assumed defeat. That's when the most unexpected heros in Tee Higgins, Steelers defense, Houston kicker, and a Cowboy came through. The best spend of our waiver dollars was easily to secure Jauan Jennings as his role has been phenomenal to the point where I question why the 49ers did not let Brandon Aiyuk walk. Unfortunately the stat chasing team is in a similar position as the two teams before needing to surpass the 4 seed which remains 67.85 points ahead, and there are other teams in between as well in this one.
Tree Branches (8-3) 2nd Place 1552.65 pts
The Ship Chasing/Davis Mattek combo reigned victorious in spite of a Big Dog failure, where the team has moved into the 2 seed and could easily clench 1 seed, with only 4.35 points separating the top 2 teams. Winning this Week 12 matchup and scoring as many points as possible could lead to an extra 3k before the sprint even begins if they can lock down the best record and most points for the sweep bonus.
Hear Ye Hear Ye (3-8) 11th Place 1387.20 pts
I tend to fight to the end and remain optimistic through some dire situations, but I feel pretty confident in saying this team is dead for the sprint... however there is always the consolation bracket.
@CrakRok3 (9-2) 3rd Place 1567.10 pts
The CrakRok team recorded a dominant victory in Week 11 and is now tied for the best regular season record. If they win next week they are at minimum getting the 3 seed, and would move into the top seed should that team lose in Week 12. If the CrakRok team loses in Week 12 then they would need to ensure they score enough points for the 2 or 4 seed. Currently, the team only trails the 2 seed by 5.3 points and has a 28.8 point lead on the 4 seed. Things are looking pretty damn good heading into this final week, LFG!
Dairy Queen (4-7) 11th Place 1373.80 pts
My team lost... again. There once was so much promise and hope for the future, but now those dreams are Joever. All that remains is the consolation bracket and maybe a toilet bowl victory... SHIT.
Caveish (5-6) 2nd Place 1553.90 pts
Caveish had a solid win in Week 11 and now needs to keep scoring points to secure the 2 seed and it's rightful place in the sprint. This team has had some bad matchup luck, but it has managed to put up big numbers and now has a 23.25 point lead on the 4 seed. I love the fact that the FFPC accounts for teams that score points regardless of their record.
FFPC $5,000 Big Payback Teams
Leone HS1 (2-9) 12th Place 1206.40 pts
The regular season extends into Week 14 for the Big Payback teams, but it is still too little too late for this one.
Leone HS2 (5-6) 9th Place 1446.60 pts
This team had a shot of winning if I had predicted the Bears would operate a split backfield while debating on who to start in the other running back spot. It is going to be hard to make the playoffs in this league as well.
Week 12 Waiver Priorities for FFPC
Below are all the players I like for Week 12 for FFPC leagues. I break down all players into tiers with FAAB suggestions.
