FAABulous Football Week 5: Now Entering the Bye Weeks
Welcome to Week 5
This season has had its share of drama already with a slew of injuries, benchings, and trade rumors… Now add on the start of bye weeks and we all probably have some roster spots that we need to fill in the upcoming weeks. There are four teams on bye for Week 5; Lions, Chargers, Eagles, and Titans, so if you have starters from these teams get your plan ready now. I will try and provide some streaming options when possible this week, as well as some stashes that could pay off down the line. The wire continues to get thinner every week, especially in deeper and high stakes leagues, so don’t be afraid to take a shot on some of these stashes if you have room… we are looking for home runs to win these giant tournaments not singles! Alright enough with the pleasantries, we have a busy week ahead so let’s get to the good stuff as I welcome you to Week 5.

When I say “wins” it is in reference to the player(s) won on the waiver wire, not a performance evaluation. Because I am releasing this article after the conclusion of Week 1, many things, in hindsight, may not be a win after all. I include this section not for bragging rights or victory laps but rather to keep myself accountable and demonstrate that I am, in fact bidding on many of the players I am writing about (for better and worse).

The team from the minisodes suffers another heart breaking defeat, this time at the hands of one of Ship Chasing's own... Gormanji. This team might have pulled out its first win if it wasn't for Breece Hall.
Top 2 Win It Win It (1-3) 11th Place 485.25 pts
I thought this team was going to win its matchup, as it was up by several points... but that's what happens when your last player of the week is a defense.
We Just Don't Know (1-3) 9th Place 505.15 pts
We just don't know how it's possible for Mark Andrews, Keenan Allen, Zay Flowers, and Devon Achane to score a combined 12.8 pts. One thing I can assure you of is it's not a winning formula... is it time to bench Mark Andrews?
Tree Branches (2-2) 7th Place 551.75 pts
Finally we have a winner! If you watched this Ship Chasing episode you might remember this time rostering a falling Derrick Henry. The big dog has to eat, enough said LFG!
Hear Ye Hear Ye (0-4) 12th Place 436.40 pts
This team learned the hard way what the Chief's plan at running back going forward is... hint it's not Carson Steele.

This team FUCKS! Finally a team to be proud of remaining undefeated despite Brock Bowers doing his best elite TE impression for the week.
Dairy Queen (3-1) 3rd Place 558.35 pts
My team is heating up with it's second win in a row beating out fellow Ship Chaser DrEvil1996. However this team is losing one of the very best, but without a final diagnosis I am praying for a miracle for Rashee Rice.
Caveish (0-4) 11th Place 496.25 pts
The other live Vegas drafted team shit the bed again thanks to Kyle Pitts stinking up the place, the only thing he is better than is Mark Andrews at this point. Let's just say I think we have a spot for him on the bench this week.

Leone HS1 (2-2) 10th Place 469.10 pts
This team narrowly escaped victoriously now on a two win hot streak thanks to Stroud, Jayden Reed, Worthy, and Younghoe Koo. You know who we aren't thanking... Kyle Shits!
Leone HS2 (2-2) 7th Place 562.85 pts
Both Leone's teams won this week, as this was a more comfortable victory despite disappointing performances from Josh Allen and Breece Hall. There are a lot of exciting pieces on this team that I think that are just starting to heat up.
Week 5 Waiver Priorities for FFPC
Below are all the players I like for Week 4 for FFPC leagues. I break down all players into tiers with FAAB suggestions, followed by analysis and a list of players to consider dropping.
This article is also intended to provide value for those of you who play in deeper league formats and dynasty leagues.
Please note with a drop list, you do not have to drop these players and all suggestions are general as it is impossible to cover all nuances of individual leagues.
